Why We Exist

The concept of the NFL Youth Education Town (YET) Center was born out of the desire of the National Football League to leave a lasting legacy to communities hosting a Super Bowl, and was founded on the philosophy that by coupling education with recreation, disadvantaged children can overcome the obstacles to success.

NFL YET Tampa Bay is a collaborative effort of YET, Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa Bay.

YET provides at-risk youth in Tampa Bay with a safe place to be a kid! Children participate vaious sports, educational, social, cultural and health oriented programs designed to enhance their development and provide them with hope and opportunity for the future.

Canon USA donated $150,000 worth of products to the NFL YET Family, including EOS Rebel T1i Digital SLR Cameras, PIXMA MP560 Wireless Photo All-In-One Printers and VIXIA High Definition Camcorders.
